What We Offer?

Music

Music ignites all area of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and mind work together! Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn sounds and meanings of words. At Life Beginnings we have a bi weekly music teacher who joins us virtually to interact with the children! Apart from that we sing throughout the day including at circle time and for transitions.

Arts & Crafts

Art allows children to express themselves in a creative way exploring new materials, colors, textures, and techniques. Some benefits of art include Arts ability to help children with self- esteem and self expression. Art stimulates creativity and problem- solving skills, builds memory and self-control, helps develop visual- spatial processing and so much more! Art supplies are readily available for children everyday! At Life Beginnings we love to use art to help with our fine motor skills and set out new materials based on each weeks the

Creative Play

Children learn as they play and we encourage children to explore and express themselves freely and creatively whether that's through dramatic play, exploring the outdoors or using their imaginations.  It allows them to learn and explore the world while sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings with their peers. Creative play promotes children to integrate their feelings into activities so they can express their thoughts and emotions in a way they are encouraged to do so.

Small Group Setting

Life Beginnings Daycare is licensed to have 6 children in care. We currently offer care for kids 1-5. There are many benefits to having a small group classroom. One being developmental growth. In early education children are still in the process of developing their cognitive, language, and social skills. Small group activities are a great opportunity for children to further develop their social skills through structured interaction, using language to express their thoughts and needs with peers to accomplish task. With smaller group settings children are able to have a more individualized learning experience. Where their teacher can help focus and grow skills needed. Another advantage of a small group setting is it allows students to discover and engage with a range of perspectives including their own. At life Beginnings we encourage group play, but it is not mandatory. If children would like to join group activities they are more than welcomed but are not obligated.
